GENERAL TATTOO AFTERCARE
***FOR THOSE IVE GIVEN SPECIFIC AFTERCARE TO, ALREADY... THIS IS A GENERAL AFTERCARE, NOT SPECIFIC FOR YOU, PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR AFTERCARE***

Leave your bandage on overnight, this will allow any excess "gooeyness" (plasma and/or blood, etc.) to drain out into the bandage, versus, drying to the surface of your tattoo; acting as a "glue" towards bacterium that can be found in your general everyday life. such as bed sheets, couches, clothes, etc. when you wake up in the morning, take your bandage off. you will notice that the bandage is more than soiled and that your tattoo has a slight "coating" of similar "gooeyness". you must remove this from your tattoo right away. jump into a nice warm-hot temperature shower, and wash down your tattoo. when you wash your tattoo down ONLY use a non-abrasive cloth, using the suds of an unscented, mild soap (a brand that i trust is "Dove") and create a nice lather.  Be friendly, but firm when washing down your tattoo, it will be sore, but you do not want to irritate your tattoo, but you want ALL the "gooeyness" removed from its surface.

Once your tattoo is all washed down, and you have popped out of your shower, gently PAT your tattoo down, dry. DO NOT WIPE. Your tattoo is the first thing you should dry off when you get out of the shower. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME YOU WILL WASH YOUR TATTOO DOWN, WHILE YOUR TATTOO IS HEALING USE YOUR BEST EFFORTS TO NOT GET IT WET.

allow a couple of hours to pass, once the tattoo appears "bone dry" (as in, there is no more moisture within it) apply a THIN coating of "LUBRIDERM: FRAGRANCE FREE, ORIGINAL MOISTURIZER" TO YOUR TATTOO. Ensure that any time you need to touch your tattoo (moisturizing ONLY) that your hands are freshly  washed. When you apply the moisturizer, "massage" it in; in other words, a soft hand, in circular motions over your tattoo with the moisturizer.

this is the ONLY time you will do this, for that day.

the days after, you will apply your moisturizer like clockwork, anywhere between 2-4 hours apart.  you will be the best judge for this. if its dry, put lubriderm on it. this will mean you are putting the moisturizer on, on average, about 3-5 times a day. DO NOT EXCEED MORE THAN 8-10 times a day. thats way to much. 6 times is ideal.

on the third day of your healing tattoo, get in contact with me. let me know, who you are, what tattoo you have, and how it is healing. is it "gooey"? is it really dry? is it scabby? flakey? how is your tattoo healing? I want to know. I want to help if there is any problems. I'm ALWAYS here to help. 7 days a week.

NO SWIMMING, HOT TUBS, TANNING BEDS, WORKING OUT, ETC. WHILE YOUR TATTOO IS HEALING. ALSO NOTE THAT, EVEN THOUGH OUR PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS, AND FRIENDS, WE CAN NOT ALLOW OUR FURRY FRIENDS TO BE NEAR OUR HEALING TATTOOS. SADLY, ANIMAL DANDER IS HORRIBLE FOR A HEALING TATTOO.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: YOUR UNCLE WHO TATTOOS OUT OF HIS KITCHEN, MAY BE AMAZING, YOUR FRIEND SUZY MIGHT HAVE HER FACE TATTOOED, AND YOU MIGHT KNOW EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD. BUT IF I DID YOUR TATTOO, YOU MUST FOLLOW MY AFTERCARE, TO ENSURE THE HEAL.
